Four in Ten Employers Continuously Recruit Employees
November 3, 2011 (PLANSPONSOR.com) – A CareerBuilder survey found two in five (43%) U.S. employers continuously recruit potential job candidates before positions are even available.
Reported by Tara Cantore
Of these employers, 72% reported that continuous recruiting has reduced their time-to-hire, with 41% stating it has shaved off at least three weeks on average. In addition, 41% reported it has lowered cost-per-hire, with 22% citing a savings of $1,000 or more per hire.
The survey was conducted from August 16 to September 8, 2011, and included more than 2,600 hiring managers nationwide.
