Lincoln Beefs Up Voluntary Product Offerings
August 23, 2010 (PLANSPONSOR.com) – The Group Protection segment of Lincoln National Corporation has enhanced its group voluntary portfolio with greater disability product flexibility; streamlined enrollment strategies; and educational tools, the company said.

Additionally, Lincoln is expanding its group voluntary offerings with the launch of a new accident insurance product. Some of its features include: benefits payable directly to the covered employee; benefits payable for multiple injuries from a single accident; and employees may keep this coverage even if they separate from their employer.
Also included with this launch, Lincoln’s new program STEPS 2 Enroll lets employees enroll in company benefits anywhere there is Internet access. Participating employers provide employees with a temporary user ID and password, along with login information. After entering STEPS 2 Enroll, employees follow a few steps to enroll.
