Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Considering UK Investment Opportunity
April 2, 2012 (PLANSPONSOR.com) – The Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan has approached UK-based Goals Soccer Centres about a potential purchase agreement.

Goals runs 5-a-side football centers throughout the UK. According to a release from Goals, there is no guarantee that an offer will be made, and terms of the offer are unavailable at this time. The initial deadline for the pension plan is April 30, 2012 at 5 p.m.
Canaccord Genuity Limited is acting as adviser to Goals Soccer Centres plc in regards to the offer.
With the news of this approach, Board of Goals’ shares went up 21% on Monday on the London Stock Exchange.
