Tongue Tied?
December 31, 2008 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - For those who
might need a little help knowing when they have had too much
to drink, here's a few words of advice.
Reported by Nevin E. Adams
Innovative, preliminary and cinnamon.
Believe it or not, police in Suffolk, UK, have launched a “drink-drivel” campaign – and say that those who have drunk too much to be getting behind the wheel of a car will have trouble saying those words.
Similarly, you should find words such as specificity, passive-aggressive disorder and transubstantiate even harder to pronounce.
Beyond that, they have also said that that inebriated individuals will also have trouble uttering the following phrases:
- Thanks, but I don’t want to sleep with you
- Where is the nearest toilet? I can’t possibly vomit in the street
- Good evening, officer, isn’t it lovely out tonight?
- No kebab for me, thank you
- I’m not interested in fighting you
- Good evening, officer, isn’t it lovely out tonight?
- Oh, I just couldn’t – no one wants to hear me sing
- Sorry, but you’re not really my is
- I must be going home now – I have work in the morning
